The client wanted to create an AI-powered travel app that simplifies the experience for travelers. The goal was to minimize the time users spend on trip planning, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in exploring and enjoying new destinations.
The app was envisioned to assist travelers by providing personalized recommendations, efficient navigation and seamless route planning.
The Challenge

Customer Research
To truly understand the needs of travelers, we conducted extensive user interviews, surveys, and journey mapping. These efforts provided insights into pain points, behaviors, and expectations across the travel booking and planning lifecycle. Key focus groups included solo travelers, families, and business professionals, ensuring a broad spectrum of perspectives.
Usability Reporting
Through iterative usability testing, we evaluated prototypes with real users, measuring ease of navigation, clarity, and efficiency. Heatmaps, session recordings, and task success rates helped identify friction points, which were addressed in subsequent design iterations. The final design achieved a 92% task completion rate, significantly improving the user experience.
